My name is Robert. I’m 48 years old, and for the past six months, I’ve been putting up with the most arrogant neighbor imaginable.
His name is Richard. He’s a wealthy businessman who owns three luxury cars. For some reason, he seems determined to park his Mercedes right on my front lawn.
“Richard, would you mind moving your car? You’re ruining my grass,” I asked him one afternoon.
He burst out laughing.
“Take it easy, old man. It’s only grass. You should be thankful to have such an expensive car sitting in your yard.”
I had complained countless times, but nothing ever changed.
Then, one night, I found his Mercedes parked on my lawn yet again. That was the final straw.
I gathered the materials I needed. With the help of two friends, I spent the entire night constructing a sturdy concrete barrier around his precious vehicle.
By the time we finished, his Mercedes was completely enclosed and trapped on my property.
The following morning, Richard came charging toward my house, shouting furiously.
“What the hell have you done to my car?! I’m going to tear this wall down!”
I walked out onto my porch with a smile.
“Lay a hand on my wall, and I’ll call the police. Don’t forget, it’s on my property.”
He threatened to sue me. He hurled insults and curses in my direction. Eventually, he realized he had only one option left.
He would have to hire a specialized crane truck capable of lifting his Mercedes over the barrier without setting foot on my land.
When the enormous truck finally arrived, the operator took a close look at the situation.
He shook his head.
“Sir, this is incredibly dangerous. The lifting angle is awful, and I strongly advise you not to attempt it.”
“Just do it! I’ll pay whatever you charge!” Richard yelled.
The operator reluctantly began setting up the equipment as nearly half the neighborhood gathered around to watch.
And that was when the most astonishing moment in our entire feud finally began.
